It matters ALOT after graduation. Sorority membership is for life. Who do you think your bridesmaids will be? Who will you network with to get a job or promotion? Who will be your contacts to get into certain organizations? I’m a ChiO alum has a lot more pull in LR than saying you’re an AOPi or PhiMu.
