Definitely get as many recs as you can! Start now asking your teachers. I was in the same situation. I called Nationals of some sororities that I couldn’t find anyone I knew and they were able to put me in touch with someone in my area. Also, call the Panhellenic Alumni group in the closest large city in your area. They will help you find someone. Turns out most of the recs I got that way were friends of friends so they could really be comfortable with writing a rec. There was a bottom house that I couldn’t get a rec for and I was cut from that house even though I had all the other creds, grades, convo skills, cute, etc. and ended up going a higher house than the bottom house that cut me. You never know and you don’t want that to be a reason you don’t move forward. Good Luck!
