For all the curious PNMS out there, going into christmas break this is whats going on with the sororities, In order of Ranks: CHIO, KAPPA, PIPHI chi omega: still selective, still have some weirder ones, still have some pretty cool ones. haven't heard much about them in competition wise recently. kappa kappa gamma: to be honest? around campus, i don't really see a lot of them. they are still highly regarded, killer grades, and still have a bit of a "Jesus and Grades are the most important thing rep." They have a lot of artsy girls and like i said, always kill grades. pi phi: at this point I almost want to put them over chi o and kappa. I see them everywhere on campus, and I know boys like them a good amount. the only stigma that follows them is "pi high" and i haven't meet a pi phi who smokes a lot. m zeta, kd, tri delt zeta: a lot of people on here say they are bible beaters, but the majority i know party a lot. they are still desired, and in my opinion have a really trendy vibe to them. they just quite aren't on kappa, chi o, piphi's level yet. kappa delta: I see them a good amount too. This PC parties pretty hard but their new members got 3/4 new member panhellenic scholarships. with their house, i think they'll be able to somewhat compete with tri delt and maybe zeta. they just aren't on kappa or chi o's level yet. tri delt: i think right now, tri delt and KD are on the same level. although a lot of girls are judging tri delt because some of their members, their pc's are living proof that people would still rather go tri delt that the aoii's, phi mu's, etc. they party somewhat hard, but also have really involved girls who got a lot of panhellenic scholarships this year too (two first places) adpi, alpha chi alpha delta pi: still remains as a solid house on campus. very involved, won the spirit stick this year at the freshman pep rally and is overall a great option if you don't get some of the aforementioned houses. once their house is renovated I could see them moving up even more. alpha chi omega: unlike their other new house friends (aoii), they have stayed very active on campus and have some really sweet girls who truly are passionate about their philanthropy and sisterhood. i haven't heard a bad thing about alpha chi and as they get more established, they will move up. dg, phi mu, aoii delta gamma: they're new, and although they take risks to meet their quota, they are still doing so well. they are active on campus and have some truly sweet girls who didn't quite make the cut for the lower mid houses and mid houses. whether thats because of looks, connections, or whatever, they are rising so much and i'm proud of them for doing so well. phi mu: i've met a mix of awesome phi mus and not so awesome phi mus. i'm happy they got their new houses and they love it, but it seems to cloud over everything they do. they bank on the house instead of sisterhood or their love for their philanthropy. i don't hear of them doing much on campus besides rather not so good things (like booing DG when they won adpi lip sync). i know girls who preffed them for their house and absolutely dislike it now. i have hope that their high from their new house lessens and they start focusing on involvement. aoii: I think everyone wanted to give them a chance, but I haven't heard anything about them. Maybe I'm just not close enough with their members but honestly... who are they? they aren't active on campus, they just party.
