U of Ark is evolving into a "primarily" 4 state university, Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma and Missouri due to the Out of State Tuition Scholarship. Pulling students from TX, OK and MO and the extra money they bring in has led to the amazing growth of UARK, not to mention pulling top students that qualify for the Out of State Scholarship. There have been 3 sororities added in last 7 years, plus AGD coming next year and Theta, Alpha Phi or GPB probably coming down the road. Older Chapters that immediately cut terrific girls from these other states will lead to the 3, 4, 5, 6 houses rising faster and having the most awesome girls vs legacies/ARK zip code girls whose grandmothers were at UARK 50 years ago. Time for the "old guard" to be more inclusive if they want to remain top.
