Be happy that your legacy house released you before pref. It gave you the opportunity to open your eyes and look at something else. Why would any house just accept all the legacies. My sister and I are so different and we are both different then our Mom. Yes we have similar interest etc.. but you have to look at fit. Why would I take a legacy that had a 3.25 good involvement. When their might be a PNM that has a 3.5 good involvement and clicks just a little bit better. Just because she isn't a legacy we should release her?? I am just glad that we don't have alumni breathing down our necks. Sometimes legacies come to the house and they think they don't have to have great conversations or empress us or worse they think that they are all ready in. Big turn off.
