i think everyone was so excited for them and achio to get a house. as soon as they did they went on a massive self rank campaign about how they had the best pledge class and then claimed they had the biggest and best house. i think they were just happy to finally get a house and way overdid it so it came across as bragging. personally I think it’s a really cool house that stands out from the cookie cutter ones you see. but people were quick to point out it wasn’t the biggest and focused on the back not being brick and running out of money. also they all of a sudden claimed they were a top tier house just like ChiO and Kappa. maybe one day they might be but you don’t go from bottom to top in one year. that’s offensive to top tier houses that have worked for years to be there and have like 100 year history at Uark when PhiMu has only been on campus for a few years. so I think their attitude has really really hurt them. girls I know in top houses that truly supported them cannot stand them anymore because of how braggy they are. one top house girl told me it was embarrassing to Greek life how they acted like no one had ever had a house before and PhiMu has virtually ignored the fact achio got a great house too.
