1. How many girls will be in each gamma chi (recruitment) group? the range is 15-20 2. Do the sorority girls choose 3 girls they know or from their hometown they're rooting for? Depends on the group, but 3 girls would be kind of a high number. You can can't have 400 girls picking 3 girls each to root for. Generally, it is "who is the girl you would be upset if we didn't give her bid" and "Is there one girl you think we should never give a bid" 3. Do the sorority girls already know who they will be talking to during recruitment in the house? Maybe, or they will know after work week. Not every active is a "talker" 4. During work week, is that when the girls decide which PNMs they're looking at? Yes, that is serious narrow it down time. But, some girls will really shine during rush and will rise. 5. Are the gamma chis already disaffiliated with their sorority or could they still put in a good word and help you out during recruitment? they are disaffiliated, but not in witness protection. You won't see pics of them on SM but they are still friends with their sisters. If you were out of order and they saw you this summer, you can bet the info has been passed along. They are not supposed to talk about you to their sisters either positively or negatively during rush. 6. Explain rush crushes. I don't know you, but I meet you and feel an instant connection and feel like you are meant to be my sister. You are my "rush crush."
