If your rec writer sends it through your local panhellenic, then the coordinator for that sorority in that area sees it. She will then make sure all the info is included and forward it on to the chapter house at Arkansas. If she is particularly impressed by you, she might put a little note on your rec or contact the recruitment committee at UA to tell them to look out for you. If it goes straight to UA, the recruitment committee will see it. Most of the time, it is just a "check mark" by your name that you had a rec. Having NO rec is the easiest way for houses who make a lot of cuts to thin the PNMs the first round of cuts.
