Panhellenic informs pnms they are ALLOWED TO ATTEND UP TO 11 homes to 7 to 5 to 2; they NEVER GUARANTEE INDIVIDUAL PNMS WILL BE INVITED TO 11 then 7 then 5 then 2. Any woman cut by all groups after first round is usually a very high grade risk and/or terribly socially inept. Women who drop from recruitment when they have invites are rejecting the process established by 26 united NPC sororities over the course of their 166 year existence. Defining popularity: the more 'popular' homes are not allowed to bid all the women who want to join their groups. If you as a pnm receive invites from all available houses at all times, you must still whittle down your personal choice as to which homes you will attend. No one needs dozens of recs for each sorority, that's just overkill. One or two for each home from persons who actually know you are best. You as an initiated member understand every pnm looks super-important on paper with nearly identical educational, social, and leadership qualities from high school organizations. You also understand meeting pnms personally is the only way to learn which women will give their best always to your good sorority name.
