You just have to trust that the rec writers do their job. This is probably the 100th rec they've written and they know what to do. If she's really concerned and she hasn't written thank you notes yet, she can send them now to see if that jogs anyone's memory who hasn't sent one. I don't think any of my rec writers told me they had sent them in & it turned out just fine. Tell sister to take a deep breath and relax.
