If you're on academic probation, you're ineligible for any sort of sorority recruitment (Fall formal or DG colinization). Work on getting those grades up this fall and then see if DG maybe does informal rush in Spring 17. I'm sorry you had a difficult year. You would be in a better spot if you had made great grades your freshman year and had the family issues your sophomore year; then the houses would see that you are capable of making your grades here. I know this is an unfair situation that you're in, and I'm sorry.
