I can remember in recent years, good houses (at the time) Theta Chi, Kappa Sig, and TKE (when on campus) have had over 50 pledges. Maybe not the top house on campus but all of those have definitely been top ~5 frats. I'm not a Dchi. Just saying it's not a pike/dsig only thing to have 50 pledges.
