We don't have Greek housing here so don't even think about the 4k cause that would go into housing. An average fraternity dues are around 700-800 per active member. Since you'll be joining you would have to pay an extra 200-300 for initiation an pledging fees. You should roughlt be saving up about 1000-1200 just to be secure.
