Pros: Not top house but in the upper 25%. Prioritizes partying and brotherhood. One of the oldest chapters on campus and their brotherhood bonds reflect that. Philo is for military vets. Tough but very rewarding pledge process- "Its not four years, it's for life". Huge alumni network for both their chapter and nationals. Never a dull moment around these guys. Cons: low participation in greek events ie. Sorority philos, greek week, etc. Dont care about how they represent greek life to the public. Occasionally they party too hard and do something stupid and get themselves in trouble. Some of the brothers are try hards. Occasionally some brothers are disrespectful. Just go meet some of the bros at walk around and see if you fit in. No use trying to make a judgment before you have met them in person.
