I am an incoming freshman in WPC and am very interested in rushing at ASU. I know that rushing/pledging can be very involved. I'd like to focus on getting a high GPA my freshman year so that I'm not having to work hard all four years to recover from a bad freshman year. With that said, I am assuming that rushing in the spring is probably in my best interest academically... but does rushing in the spring put you at a disadvantage in terms of bids and stuff? Also any insight you have on rushing at ASU or advice on which fraternities are best is appreciated!
