Theta has declined in the past few years due to a strong image of elitism. We can never be sure what goes on behind closed doors, and i doubt all of them are responsible, but either their chapter advisor or exec makes sure that they don't have any fun. In addition to that, they were indisputably the "wife" house because they were hot and smart, but sadly that caught up to them and their egos blew up. The product of these problems was girls who think they're hot shlt but don't have any fun and look down their noses on everybody/spam this site still claiming to be hot. If you want a good sorority I prefer DG, DZ, Alpha Phi, Pi Phi. Those houses all have strong names and decent reputations.
