It’s great when you first join and some do make friends. But don’t be fooled. It is like high school. There are cliques and mean girls. A lot of girls drop out too because excitement wears off and some just don’t want to deal with meetings and philanthropy. Also, you will see the pretty popular girls in their mini cliques and there’s the rest. There’s jealousy within sororities too. What’s really sad is that some drop because of the stigma of being in a so called “bottom” sorority.
