<strong>Subject:</strong><br />what to know about Pi Phi<br /><br /> Poster Message:
So something I think pnm might want to take into account is pi phi strict rules. Pi Phi likes to upkeep this "good-girl angel" persona which results in strict rules. My roommate last year was a pi phi and she constantly said she wished she had known this before. They have accounts that follow everything, Snapchat, Instagram private Instagram, and if you are seen posting anything with alcohol or partying you get in trouble. On of my Pi Phi friend was not able to get initiated because of a comment she made in a group chat, that's the other part- pi phi love to snitch on each other, she eventually "dropped" because she was never going to get initiated and she hated it. Last year right after bid day some new member pi phi went to a frat party and held up their hand sign and took a picture on snap. The president threatened to kick them out saying they are not pi phi material, and dont deserve to have pi phi in their bio... because of... going out?? Another girl I know posted a picture with her aunt on snapchat and her aunt, obviously over 21, was holding a wine glass. She got in trouble. Pi phi also uses a point system to see if you are allowed to live in the house/ go to events. So end of the story is basically you should know if you want to go pi phi get ready to experience super strict parents while in college. This is something I would have totally taken into account if I was rushing again because I didn't come to asu to get grounded.
