Saw this at anther university's site and thought it would be EXTREMELY helpful to girls during the final stages of pref/bid day nerves during recruitment: "Yesterday we saw many of you PNM's sign your pref cards. Some of you may have had the easiest of choices while others of you could not pick. But regardless of what happened then, what truly matters is today when you get to run to the house that wants YOU to be a part of their sisterhood. Maybe you get a bid from the house of your dreams or maybe you get one from the house that you weren't sure about, but please go. Even if you don't plan on initiating Bid Day is a celebration for you all of the end of a very hectic Recruitment process. It's a long a grueling time but when you show up to that group of women who can't wait to meet you, you'll realize it was all worth it!" Aka, Rush is a quick process and sometimes you have a make a tough decision. However, please remember that the sororities also have a very difficult job to do and they spend so much time preparing for YOUR arrival (yes, you specifically!!). Show up to bid day and give it a chance even if you're a little unsure! The worst that can happen is its not a good fit and you decide to go through again next year. However, more often than not, you'll find some of your best friends in that group of ladies running home with you and you won't regret your decision at all! ☺️☺️
