The previous post is perfect so I'll just add to that, The biggest pro of them all is recruitment cost $35. That's so little and you can drop at any time if you think Greek life isn't for you. Even if you receive a bid, you can attend bid day and THEN drop of you absolutely hate it. In the end, going Greek was the best choice I ever made. I'm definitely not your "typical" sorority girl either. I hate crafting, I find monograms childish and pearls are for old ladies, and id prefer a good hike to a day at the mall. But I still found an amazing home and my sisters respect my differences, which means the world to me.
