Hey! So happy you are interested in greek life, but you shouldn't let numbers and money hold you back form joining the sisterhood you want. When you sign up for formal recruitment in the fall you will get a little booklet with info about each sisterhood (not all are sororities, some call themselves female fraternities). The booklet will tell you semester dues as well as symbols, colors, and other things that are important to that organization. During recruitment, you really shouldn't let the cost off-set where you think you should go. Most chapters will do a payment system where you can pay a little each month instead of one lump sum a semester. Also, some sisterhoods are more expensive because they include t-shirts, pay for more sisterhoods rather than you paying for them, and just in general things you might pay for anyways. BUT if you really are worried about the cost you can always look up each sisterhoods national scholarships and see if that might be an option weighing into where you go. Hope that helps!
