So what you're saying is that if you're completely new to campus and you don't know anyone, you're not going to find a house? You just lost a whole bunch of PNMs with this post. The point of sororities is MAKING NEW friendships. I didn't pay money to not get in. You say keep an open mind, but it's never a guarantee that you'll even make it to a house. What if a PNM is so nervous that all they can think about is small talk? I'm the type of person where it takes a long time for me to actually get comfortable with you before I start a legit conversation. So when you say that you get into a house by knowing someone just makes the process so much more stressful.
