I agree with what you say about on vs off. the lines are blurring. Also, with no fraternity row, the success of JMU Frats is more dependent on which properties they can sign for. (ex: DX kicked off but still relevant because they have a great house. same with KS prior to losing Colonial) The point is that recent off campuses like ATO and SX can still have success if they hold onto their houses and promote themselves properly. It just different here than it is at an SEC school where the money pours into the the frat system and even the worst ones have mansion type houses, chef, etc.
