It doesn’t really affect rush unless the rig has been kicked off campus/ disaffiliated. It’s more an issue of what restrictions the org is under that will come into play after rush. Sometimes orgs can’t have any events at all, including big/little, inducting new members, etc. so those things are postponed until the org is off of disciplinary. Sometimes they are just restricted to only dry events, which technically means no mixers or date parties with frats, etc. I’d still recommend just going through rush and choosing the org that feels right to you, but I can understand keeping in mind how your experience will be impacted by suspensions/probation, and for how long.
