Historically speaking, Greek orgs have always been big on nepotism. They used to basically guarantee a bid to anyone with a family member, especially a close family member, in the org. They were called legacys. I don’t think it’s near as prevalent now, but it’s funny that this question is posed as if it’s a taboo, when it’s actually been business as usual since Greek orgs started.
