i was so excited to rush and i thought my video was pretty good, i said the most important things about my personality and was authentic and talked about the philanthropy work i’ve done in the past. i have a good gpa and did lots of extracurriculars. and yet 8 houses wanted nothing to do with me. it’s hard not to think that they just didn’t want me because i’m not blonde and skinny and super hot. i’m keeping an open mind with the houses i got back, but it’s just disheartening, i thought maybe some of them were serious about wanting diversity.
