clout, reputation, etc. a key thing to remember is that top houses are REALLY good at recruitment and making most PNMs feel at home/impressed during recruitment, even though the chapter itself is very different from how it is presented in recruitment. That's how top houses are able to be so selective in choosing new members - they are good at recruiting, so more girls rank them higher, so they have more choice in the PNMs they invite back. top houses in no way have more philanthropic opportunities and some are known for weaker sisterhoods.keep an open mind.
