Take a step back for a second. You’re joining greek life out of high school, but why? Because you want to be apart of something bigger than yourself? You wanna join a house of girls that you could find your best friends in??? You want to network and make lifelong connections? Well I can PROMISE you, none of those things will FEEL satisfied if you go through this (on either side) basing your decision on superficial aspects. It just doesn’t matter as much as it seems when you’re in High school.... the looks, the popularity, the partying... wouldn’t you rather focus on substance? how are these beautiful women In these organizations going to represent YOU? Who do you want to be represented by based on who THEY are as people? Trust me, you want to join the house that you CLICK with the most. Base it on the conversations you have, base it on that gut feeling you get when you walk into the chapter house, base it on those people you talk to later in the week that make you feel COMFORTABLE.... it’s easy to get lost in all the drama and pettiness of this site, but don’t let that happen. Join a sorority (or fraternity) for the right reasons. If that happens to be a top house then great, If it doesn’t, then also great. Just know you WILL find your place, but to find your TRUE place, you need to be honest with yourself first.
