I rushed as a transfer and had a great experience. It definitely doesn't hurt your chances to be a transfer and very rarely does anyone end up with no bid. It's more common for girls to drop. I tried to get a feel of each sorority before rush but it's actually useless. I ended up in a "top house" I originally thought would be way too sororityty for me pre-rush. A lot of the sororities have different types of girls and can't be generalized so easily. Trust the process and be patient during rush. You'll know when you find the house you belong to and the girls you click with.
