One of the basic human needs is a need to belong to a group. I don't like how my sorority is disjointed and I don't like how our board operates( it seems that they enjoy power and that they are doing it for resume only) but I wouldn't drop because there are plenty of occasions when being in a sorority is better than being a non affiliated loner in a school where people are generally too focused on themselves.
