Hey guys, this is a serious post (for once) that hopefully isn't meant to hurt anyone. I am a rising junior and I am in a sorority that is involved pretty heavily on campus. I don't regret joining it, I love my family, and I have made lots of great friends, but sometimes I feel like a lot of our sisterhood is forced and there are a few girls that I don't even know very well and even a few that I don't feel comfortable hanging out with. There is a bit of cliqueness and a sense of inner ranks and I am honestly put off by it. I have talked earnestly to my friends in other sororities and they too have echoed my sentiments. Maybe it is because there are way more girls in a sorority than there are guys in a fraternity.. who knows. I was curious, are frats like this too? If you are a frat brother, do you feel like you can talk to any of your brothers with complete ease? Or do you sometimes feel uncomfortable or unfamiliar with a few of them?
