first off making decisions based off rankings makes sense to a certain extent based on what u want to get out of a sorority but don’t let it rule your gut feelings!! u will feel different things at each place when u rush, go with what u feel second off this is JOHNS HOPKINS at the end of the day we all go to brody third off IX is not a sorority, you benefit from national connections when you are in a sorority. there is no international ix association. saying they killed rush makes zero sense bc no actual sorority can tell anyone they actually want them during fall sem because that would get them kicked off. ix can do this. there is no comparison as much as frats like to make it seem that way. fourth off if you wanna go by rankings get your facts straight... aphi  and phi mu are the most well socially connected out of the 5 so if that is the most important thing to u they are both top for that reason, but have different vibes (phi mu feels more like a real southern sorority that u see in movies, aphi feels more edgy east cost-cali both chill just a different feeling) for kappa and theta a lot of people tend to intermix them.. they are both great but for different reasons. if u want the better social presence out of the 2 mid considered sororities especially based on the past years pc go kappa!! theta however seems to have easily the best true sisterhood out of all hopkins sororities. pi phi is seen as the lower sorority but gets a bad rep bc of a few odd eggs who were narcs over the past few years!! this is not all the girls in this sorority!!! everyone in greek life especially the frats should start realizing this and get over themselves because i said it once.... i will say it again.... This is hopkins and at the end of the day we all pledge to Beta Ro Delta Yo (BRODY) p.s. all frat parties are overrated - you have fun if you go out with your friends and hang out with your friends, regardless of the fraternity hosting the party (good music conquers all)
