I did not go GPhi and am really happy at my house (I posted a few days ago about my recruitment experience), but you can't deny GPhi had everyone talking about them this year. They did seem to be the most sought-after house during recruitment. If your theory was correct, why did Kappa's have to take snap bids? Of my friends who went Kappa and Pi Phi, none still were invited back to GPhi (idk about Theta, no good friends went to that house so I cannot comment intelligently on it).
