I wanted to share my recruitment experience for PNM's 2016 so hopefully they can open their hearts to other houses. Here were my rankings through rush: GPhi/ChiO Theta/Kappa AXO/Zeta/PiPhi KD/PhiMu ADPi/DDD/AOPi AZD (just because so new) I had heard so much about XO, I thought that's where I wanted, but then after the first day, GPhi took the lead. The girls were so fun and I just knew that was where I would end up. Theta girls were sweet, Kappa was fun. AXO was alright but no real connection, Zeta girls were earthy, Pi Phi - I don't even know what to say about them, except I felt that house would not be fun at all. KD was fun but I worried (unnecessarily) about their reputation on campus. Phi Mu was a lot of fun. The houses considered "lower" surprised me when I got in there, because there were very pretty and sweet girls in each one. Well I got up Saturday morning and was shocked to see that I had been cut from every one of my top 3 tiers. I cried and cried and really wanted to break rush. But I went to the events anyway and had a great time! I felt I made a great connection in one of the houses that day and ended up getting that house and I am SOOOOO happy there! My roommates all wanted GPhi or XO in the beginning, but none got them and almost all are very happy in their houses. So PNM's, keep yourselves open to other houses. Once you meet your sisters, "tiers" don't mean a thing. Just appreciate that you are a part of this kind of sisterhood because it is a total blast!
