As a parent, I occasionally get on here to see what is being said about my daughters house (the place I send a lot of $$). Her original rush didn't go as well as she liked, so she waited and did COB in Jan. She was offered a bid within a few days of Spring COB starting. I'm glad she stayed and toughed it out that first semester. She's loved it ever since and loves living in the house and sisterhood etc So it can work out for you if you wait...but you will probably have to wait until 2nd semester to really get to talk to the majority of houses.
