I feel like I should say something here because I have personally heard people of color refer to panhellenic as “white girl sororities” and how they’d rather go to multicultural ones. It makes me sad to know that some girls are afraid to go through recruitment because most houses only have white girls. I can speak for the majority of sororities at OSU when I say that we would LOVE having more diversity and want girls of all types coming through recruitment. I know for a fact that race has absolutely nothing to do with getting a bid from my house and the lack of diversity is really just due to the fact that so many girls with darker skin won’t go through recruitment because they feel like they won’t fit in :( Please don’t be scared and Go Greek!!
