I was in the same boat when I went through a few years ago. I had a 2.9 and had a ton of community service and extracurriculars. After open round I was cut from all but 5 houses and then after house tour I was down to 1 (houses make grade cuts different rounds). I knew I didn’t belong in the house I had left so I dropped recruitment. I went through COB that fall and found the sisterhood for me :) I’m not telling you this go scare you just to set your expectations reasonably. There’s the occasional story of a girl with below a 3.0 getting a bid to a house she really likes but that’s rare and because the house decided to fight for her. If you decide to go through recruitment like I did, I would do so with an open mind and low expectations. It’s a great way to get a feel for the houses. COB or recruitment next fall with a higher college GPA will probably give you a lot more options though.
