SAE and Sigma Chi have been notorious to be as closely related to a "southern" fraternity as possible here. They dress fratty and you find less of the "wild Jersey/New York boys" in these fraternities and actually find guys that are from southern West Virginia or Virginia. Closely related to these two are Sigma Nu and Sig Ep. They're rising here because they've only been around for a few years, but they also have guys that act southern "Vineyard Vines, GOP, TFM, etc". Someone once said if you want to experience what it's like to be in a fraternity down south, rush every fraternity that starts with Sigma here. So pay attention to "Sigma"
