Currently Phi Sig and Sigma Chi are the top contenders on campus. However, with applied pressure from the University for Fraternities to maintain a higher standard of conduct this may effect those two Fraternity's standings. Sigma Chi has been on probation for the past semester, so they have relatively toned down and did very well academically this past semester. Phi Sig on the other hand is under a microscope and has not taken heed from PiKapp, Kappa Sig, and Beta being off campus, so they maintain a sense of liability. Also with several Fraternities getting new houses it seems like there will be a shifting of the guard for the tier 1 Fraternities. I wouldn't be surprised see a couple of those Fraternities to make a push for being a Top 3 house.
