Honestly, the house that I ended up in wasn't my first choice or even my second choice. After the first round of recruitment, I'd say they were probably ranked 5th on my list. I liked them, but they were just ok to me and didn't really stand out as much as some of the other houses did (this was based purely on my interactions with them alone, not on this website). But as I kept going back, I felt more and more comfortable each time and by the end of the week, I knew I was home, right where I was meant to be. Now that I've been in it for 2 semesters, I couldn't imagine myself being anywhere else! Having limited options sucked at first, but looking back, I'm kind of glad because it allowed me to shift my energy into the houses that did invite me back instead of the others and I didn't have a hard time choosing which houses I liked more. As for requirements, Chi O told me they almost always take girls with a 3.0 and above only, AXiD told me they required a 2.7, and DG and Pi Phi told me they require a 2.5. The other 4 houses I either forgot to ask or can't remember what they told me. I think Kappa's is pretty high up their. Nevertheless, anything above a 3.0 should be good. If you don't have a 3.0 but still meet the 2.5 requirement, you should rush anyway and just see how things go. You may end up where you belong!
