I wasn't saying that to "diss" those houses. I'm in one of those houses. My step-sister is in another. I actually think all of the houses are respectable and have something different to offer. I'm just saying that those houses are generally seen on here as "lower tier". Lower tier houses tend to be not as competitive during recruitment because girls come on here beforehand and decide that "lower" means bad. My sisters know what people say about us, but we don't really care because we love our sisterhood anyway and we want other girls to look past the tiers and like us, as well. And the "top" houses generally don't take older girls. Most of the girls in my Rho Gamma group thought Phi was a top house and they hardly took any older girls. This isn't like Alabama where older girls stand virtually NO chance at all, but it's competitive enough that an open mind is key.
