So far, it's only confirmed that AOPi, Pi Phi, Xi, and Sigma Kappa are doing spring rush, but there's speculation that almost all of the sororities are taking new pledges due to a large number of pledges dropping this year (most likely cause of the moratorium). Sign ups won't open until about a week or two before recruitment starts in the first week of March. Usually girls sign up at Meet the Greeks or just go to the house and sign in, or they contact the recruitment chair to express interest. Spring recruitment is much different from fall recruitment in the sense that everything is more laid back. You can choose what houses you want to go to each night instead of being forced to go to every house. That being said, I think you should check out every house (if possible) to see where you would fit in better. It also maximizes your chances of getting a bid since spring is more competitive. Each sorority only gives out a couple of bids so there's more girls rushing than there are bids. Think 15 in the spring compared to 50 in the fall. It helps if you already have friends in a particular house, but it's no guarantee so go through and decide which house is best for you. If you don't get a bid, then you can always go through in the fall. Good luck!
