As a member f the Greek Community, I am getting worried myself. Why would WVU want Greek Life here? At this point the WVU Officials probably want nothing to do with the Greek Community. Some Greeks (not all) are showing disrespect toward our Greek Community by gettng themselves into serious trouble, having our Greek Community being portrayed as party and drinking social clubs by the Media and causing damages withinthe town. A I am also hearing that the Greek Life Leaders are calling for a meeting with Executive DIrectors of the remaining Fraternities and Sororities to discuss new strict standards going forward. Every Greek Org. will be required to follow these standards or if not, leave WVU. One Greek Leader told me that every Greek Org.(Fraternity and Sorority) can be easily replaced with another if they fail to follow the rules and it will not matter how long they were at WVU. There is going to be MAJOR CHANGES in 2015 and going forward.
