www.charlestondailymail.com Authorities say at least 19 fraternity pledges at West Virginia University caused a fracas in a Mogantown neighborhood and lied to police.Officers were dispatched at about 1:30 a.m. Thursday to the South Park neighborhood where several residents reported a large disturbance. The article states......A group of 19 men were running through the neighborhood, screaming and yelling, Morgantown Police Chief Ed Preston said.“They were being loud and rowdy and at 1:30 in the morning the residents weren’t going to tolerate it,” Preston said. .......Officers found the men, all of whom were 18 to 20 years old, in “various stages of intoxication,” according to a statement from the police department. The group initially told officers they were involved with Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity but officers later found they were Sigma Chi pledges, Preston said. .........All are students at WVU.Three of the 19 were arrested and charged. Alex Gregory Board, 19, of West Virginia, was charged with disorderly conduct, public intoxication and underage consumption; Ryan Joseph Walter, 18, of Pennsylvania, and Noah Herod Miller, 19, of West Virginia, both were charged with public intoxication and underage consumption. NOT VERY SMART GENTLEMEN ESPECIALLY LYING ABOUT BEING TKE TO THE POLICE. NOT A GOOD WAY TO PROMOTE GOOD GREEK RELATIONS.
