As you all know, several frats have seceded from the IFC or are close to. Let me just offer up this tidbit: Almost 20 years ago, CU Boulder admin tried to pull the same BS and pass a bunch of ridiculous rules to limit partying. The frats, however, refused to cooperate and all of them decided to instead move off campus, where they've existed ever since. They created their own IFC to govern themselves and the University can't touch them because remember, they became unrecognized: CU Boulder admin literally has to treat them like they don't exist. Of course, nationals are still a factor, but it's a lot easier to be a thriving fraternity without the University trying to lynch every frat in sight. Look it up if you dont believe me; CU Boulder has the right idea. Now its up to us to follow their example. It's not crazy. We can do this. Long live John Denver.
