You’re dumb as hell if you think the university is looking out for Greek life. They’re trying to get rid of it in the most lowkey way possible. Deferred rush makes it extremely difficult to fill houses and grow in general. This has nothing to do with GPAs and some of the frats who are disaffiliating are in decent standing with the university too. You comparing “frat boy fantasies” to sorority life is laughable. Y’all can’t throw parties or haze so you get ridiculous numbers no matter what. Not to mention there’s only 7 of you. TL;DR: The university is gradually getting rid of Greek life and the party school culture of WVU. There’s no perks of staying with IFC and following their strict rules. I hope more frats follow suit.
