I rushed as a soph, had a good GPA (just barely missing deans list) and had 2 left by philanthropy round. So did my other friends who had great GPAs. GPA is important don't get me wrong but don't use it as a scapegoat for why you get cut because when you find out the girl on your floor who has the worst GPA ever got invited back to a sorority you wanted you will go nuts.
