^ This is accurate but also you cannot become a quota addition if you single intentional pref. A QA is a pnm who otherwise would not have gotten a bid. Sororities a and b both had the PNM on their bid list, but further down (like the above poster said) but the sorority recruitment system will not let her go bidless. She will receive a bid from one of those groups. Now, what measure panhel uses to decide which chapter the pnm goes to is up for debate. Some say whoever had the PNM higher on their list gets her, others say it is whoever the pnm ranked higher. It all depends on quota and how the bid matching process goes. So if you didn't maximize your options, you cannot be a quota addition. You'd have to be top on the sorority you want's list.
