The number you have let is irrelevant. YOU ONLY JOIN 1 SORORITY. Girls go through and end with 8 the first weekend and then have 3 the second weekend. Once you focus less on the number you have left and more on how you could possibly fit into who you have left, you might find out you are much happier. I went to pref round with 2 chapters. It wasn't that I didn't like them, but I had a favorite that I could have SWORN i was going to be invited to and get a bid to. I was crying (ugh, embarassing) and almost dropped out. THANK GOD I DIDN'T. Went to the next round, it was ok. My current chapter I had an ok time with. The other i didn't as much, but the girls were nice. Then I went to pref round. I went to pref round for the other sorority and I was like WOW, the other one will have a run for their money. But then I went to the one for my current chapter. YES I WAS ONE OF THOSE GIRLS WHO CRIED IN SOMEONE ELSES PREF ROUND. I knew I was home. A girl I had talked to during philanthropy was telling me her story and I knew I was home. I was so nervous I wouldn't get a bid from the chapter I wanted, but I did. Between Friday and Sunday I had gone from almost dropping out and crying to finding where I truly belong! I owe everything to my sorority and credit them with allowing me the be who I really am and making me the best version of myself! Don't lose hope! Give the group(s) you have left a shot. You don't want to miss out on something amazing.
