let me tell you what is going to happen to OP. It happens every year. PNM with (seemingly) good GPA and looks goes through recruitment and does not like that she doesn't get accepted back to her top choice of chapters. Then, PNM decides she just doesn't "connect" or "see herself" in the sororities she has left and drops. PNM then comes here and tells everyone that everything will be okay and that shel is better off not taking a bid from a chapter she believes she is too good for but, everything will change next year should she decide to go back through recruitment. WRONG. 90% of the time, the chapter you get freshman year is the chapter you will get as a sophomore too. ( a few cases though, I had a friend with theta and dg freshman year, and ending up joining ASA the next year. But that is out of the norm in my opinion). SO be my guest, go into rush and drop out once you don't get your way. Makes more room for girls who DO want bids from those "bottom 5" chapters.
